Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross to Score Luca Guadagnino's ‘After the Hunt,' and Possibly ‘American Psycho'

December 6, 2024 Jordan Ruimy

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross recently collaborated with Luca Guadagnino on two of the very best scores of 2024: “Challengers” and “Queer.” They’re not done, more is coming.

Reznor, and Ross have now confirmed that they are set to score Guadagnino’s upcoming “After the Hunt,” starring Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield, which will be released in 2025. Not just that, they’re teasing a subsequent collaboration on Guadagnino’s recently announced “American Psycho” reboot (“that’d be fun”).

Ross and Reznor are one of the most acclaimed film composers of the last decade, and that also comes with being David Fincher’s go-to musical collaborators on five of his films: “The Social Network”, “Gone Girl”, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” “Mank” and “The Killer.”

The musical duo has been non-stop busy ever since their landmark score for 2010’s “The Social Network.” Not counting the Finchers, they’ve also injected their musical sounds to such projects as “Waves,” “Patriots Day,” “Mid90s,” “Watchmen,” “Empire of Light,” and Pixar’s “Soul.”
