I can confirm that there is very high interest in horror indie “Terrifier 3,” and it is now set to play in 2500+ screens nationwide this weekend. The aim is for a $20M opening — internal numbers are indicating that could very well be the case. This would be major triumph for distributor Cineverse since “Terrifier 3” only cost $2M to produce.
The short version: "Woman Unknown" was a compromise. The jury deadlocked over "Possible Love" and "NAZA," not able to com to terms, fell back on their #3, May el-Toukhy's film.
