Acclaimed French filmmaker Olivier Assayas’ new film, “Hors de Temps,” will most likely be premiering at the Berlin Film Festival next month. Above, we have our first look image.
French actor Vincent Macaigne is part of the cast in a film that’s being described as a “comedy set during the pandemic.” Production on the film wrapped in June 2023, it’s been in the editing stages ever since.
DP Eric Gautier will be lensing “Hors de Temps,” he hasn’t worked with Assayas since 2012’s “Something in the Air”. There are no further details about the cast, but Berlin is supposed to announce its lineup next week, so we’ll learn more about this one very soon.
In 2022, Assayas released his “Irma Vep” TV series. It’s well worth checking out. Before that, his last two films (“Non-Fiction” and “Wasp Network”) were critical disappointments. Here’s hoping he gets back on track with this one.
