I’m not entirely sure what Harmony Korine’s plans are as far as distributing his indescribable “Aggro Dr1ft.” Will it even ever get distribution?
The film will be going on an “experimental tour” next month, its first stop will be at the strip club Crazy Girls in Los Angeles on Feb. 7, with an additional date the next day. It’s a peculiar way to screen the film, but, then again, Korine has never really adhered to mainstream thinking.
So, with that in mind, here’s the first trailer for “Aggro Dr1ft,” a film about gangsters, strippers, prostitutes, assassins, and horned demons, all shot in infrared. Some moments in this film do actually leave you in a trance, while others bewilder. More thoughts here.
