Another SAG-exempted production that I don’t see being reported anywhere. Director Ali Abassi, who made waves at Cannes with his first two features, “Border” and “Holy Spider,” is set to shoot his third film, and first one in the U.S, next month. It’s called “The Apprentice” and is said to be a “thriller.” No other details were revealed. Keep an eye out for this one, maybe it’ll be going to Cannes next year.
