Nicolas Winding Refn (“Drive,” “Only God Forgives”) told his masterclass Venice audience that he is working on a new movie. These last few years, he’s been mostly dabbling in TV stuff like “Copenhagen Cowboy” for Netflix, the Amazon series “Too Old to Die Young” and producing BBC’s “The Famous Five.” He hasn’t directed a movie since 2016’s “The Neon Demon.”
