David Zaslav is at it again. The man we like to call “The Destroyer” is saying that Warner Bros. Discovery has attributed over $100M in savings to the ongoing work stoppage due to the dual strikes by WGA and SAG-AFTRA. He’s also “hopeful' that the end is near soon and a resolution will soon be agreed upon. Warner Bros has three of the top grossing films of the summer— including, of course, “Barbie.”
Edward Berger seems to have settled on what comes next. His Lance Armstrong biopic, starring Austin Butler, is now holding casting calls, with production eyed for January.
