Now that Harmony Korine is questioning whether his upcoming “Aggro Dr1ft” is even a “real movie,” it’s a good time to share a 15-second clip I’ve been sitting on since last night. It’s the first footage that’s been seen of “Aggro Dr1ft.” I do believe no film has ever looked or sounded like this one before. Whether it turns out to be good is a whole other thing. GQ writer Zach Baron did note that the film, which he has seen, is “not quite a feature film,” defined less by cinematic grammar than “the repetitive cadence of a video game cutscene.” Korine has stated that “Aggro Dr1ft” is “what comes after movies.”
