This is the message that I’ve received in regards to the Safdies’ upcoming film for Netflix, starring Adam Sandler.
The film has been paused for an unknown length due to writers strike.
That much-rumored Netflix film starring Adam Sandler, Gael Garcia Bernal, Megan Thee Stallion and Ben Affleck will only be directed by Josh Safdie.
They were supposed to start production in July, now I’m wondering if this film will ever see the light of day considering this strike could go on for months and that the actors’ schedules will be reshuffled
The plot is said to revolve around the sports cards business, with Sandler tackling a memorabilia collector and Affleck eyed to play a former athlete. The Safdies co-wrote the script for this one.
