New Trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s R-Rated Comedy ‘No Hard Feelings’

May 25, 2023 Jordan Ruimy

We have a new trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s “No Hard Feelings.”

I semi-chuckled throughout this one. The first trailer became the most-watched trailer for an original comedy in its first 24 hours, with 50M+ views across all platforms.

Maybe it’s because we rarely get these kinds of comedies today. One that couldn’t care less about its audience’s feelings and just goes straight for the dirty raunchy laughs.

J-Law stars in this R-Rated comedy from Gene Stupnitsky, the writer-director of “Good Boys” — he also wrote “Bad Teacher,” which this movie’s comedic stylings seems to be slightly resemble.

J-Law in a comedy? Sign me up.

She plays a desperate 30-something woman who is lured into a family’s plan to get her to date and have sex with their shy and college-bound 19-year-old son. The reward is a used car.

So … she’s basically playing escort to a teenager for an old car? I’m not complaining about this premise one bit.

Imagine if the genders were flipped, Twitter would be going ballistic over this movie. A fatwa would be called upon its cast and crew the minute the trailer dropped.

Regardless, this looks like a comedy that could have only gotten made 10 years ago. There’s nothing politically correct about it. Also, can we please give kudos to Matthew Broderick’s groovy wig in this one?

“No Hard Feelings” hits theaters on June 23rd.
