I fear that, if the writers strike doesn’t get resolved by the end of summer, this one won’t be shooting until next year. The status for production to begin is still July 2023, but as I had reported a few weeks ago, the strike will most probably delay this film.
The posting notes Leonardo DiCaprio, Joaquin Phoenix, Regina Hall, Rachael Taylor, Viggo Mortensen, Vicky Krieps, Taylor Paige, Samson Harris and Jack Champion.
Take off Phoenix’s name. He’s long been out of this project for some time now. Otherwise, this cast is basically who PTA wants to be part of this film, which might be an adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s “Vineland.”
