Some encouraging news when it comes to Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice. Willem Dafoe has been added to the cast.
As it stands, the cast assembled will include Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine Ohara, Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci, Justin Theroux and Willem Dafoe. Not too shabby.
Burton is also reuniting with costume designer Colleen Atwood. Composer Danny Elfman previously confirmed his presence as well for the sequel.
“Beetlejuice 2” start’s shooting this month and will debut in theaters on September 6, 2024. It’s Burton’s first film since 2019’s “Dumbo.”
