Mia Hansen-Løve’s Next Movie Will Be A Period Piece Set in England

April 16, 2023 Jordan Ruimy

Some of the more well-known works from French filmmaker Mia Hansen-Løve include “Things to Come,” “Eden,” and “Goodbye First Love.”

She is coming off another critically-acclaimed film, 2022’s “One Fine Morning,” this was her eighth film as a director and it looks she’s about to shoot another one, hopefully later this year.

In an interview with the Guardian, Hansen-Løve reveals that she is writing her new film and that it will be a period piece set in England:

I’m only in the very early stages of writing, but it’s a period film, set in England actually. Hopefully I’ll make it in the UK. I can’t say more than that; not because I’m secretive, but out of superstition.

Hansen-Løve goes on to mention that she’d love to work with British actor Robert Pattinson, adding that he’s “a great actor.” No further details are given about this next film, but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on it.
