This morning, I broke the news that Netflix had dropped Adam McKay’s “Average Height, Average Build” only to be contacted by Netflix to be told that the story wasn’t accurate.
Netflix set up a phone call with me to clear things up, but my calls were never answered. A few hours later, Deadline confirmed my original story. Go figure.
All of this to say that Adam McKay is now jumping into a new project, this one about climate change. Somebody, stop him. No plot details or casting has been announced, but one thing’s for sure, “Average Height, Average Build” is dead in the water. It’s not happening.
