The Writer’s Guild announced the 2024 WGA Awards will move to Sunday, April 14th. That’s well over a month after the Oscars air on March 10th. WGA nominations will also not be revealed until Wednesday February 21st, almost a month after the Oscar nominations get announced. The only reason most people pay any attention to the WGA nominees and winners is due to it being a decent precursor to the Oscars. Now it doesn’t even have that going for it.
