Apparently, another blockbuster is set to open soon. Deadline’s Mike D’Alessandro is just as surprised as you are about the early numbers for Universal/Blumhouse’s “Five Nights at Freddy‘s.”
The feature, directed by Emma Tammi, is based on a popular horror videogame, and it’s looking at a $50M+ start possibly even more. The numbers seem to be “fueled by a very passionate under 25 demo.”
