Macon Blair’s remake of “The Toxic Avenger,” starring Peter Dinklage, has a teaser. Blair directed the solid Sundance winner “I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore.” For those who aren’t familiar with the original film series, the film tells the story of a janitor who gets exposed to toxic waste, turning him into a deformed superhero. He then goes on a mission of revenge. This not being a Marvel movie, it is rated R for strong violence. ‘Toxic Avenger’ has actually been screening at various genre film festivals this fall — the reviews are so far very positive.
