SAG and AMPTP Restart Negotiations, Meeting Again on Wednesday

October 3, 2023 Jordan Ruimy

SAG-AFTRA sat down with the studios last night and restarted talks on a deal for the actors. After last week’s WGA deal, there’s some much-needed positivity in the air. Of course, nothing is for certain, but this week is an essential one for a deal to happen. Both parties are meeting again tomorrow.

If SAG-AFTRA and the studios reach some kind of deal then you can bet this site will be loaded with more scoops than ever. Whenever actors are allowed to go back to work again, there’s going to be a major production boom occurring in Hollywood

I’ve been tracking some key projects since the start of the year and all I can say is that some big filmmakers are just itching to start shooting their next films. Here are some of the directors with new projects set to shoot this fall:

Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Jim Jarmusch, Ari Aster, Josh Safdie, Ang Lee, James Gray, Wes Anderson, Steven Soderbergh, Ridley Scott, Noah Baumbach, Clint Eastwood, Lynne Ramsay, Luca Guadagnino, Mike Mills, Spike Lee, Danny Boyle, Brad Bird.
