Wilde/Pugh Feud Isn’t Imaginary

July 31, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

I was trying to avoid the gossip between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh, but yesterday’s New York Post story seems to have broken the dam, so to speak.

The story goes that Wilde and her lead actor Harry Styles met on the set of “Don’t Worry Darling” and started hooking up, which made things … awkward for the cast and crew, especially whenever Wilde’s then-husband, Jason Sudeikis, would visit the set with the kids and had absolutely no knowledge of his wife’s affair.

“I can tell you for a fact that Flo [Pugh] seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry,” a person told The Post.

Wilde being unprofessional is ironic given that she had a “No Assholes” sign stamped on the set of “Don’t Worry Darling,” which was ensuingly used as a reason to fire the originally-cast Shia Laboeuf (no idea what he did to get ousted).

Is it any surprise then that Pugh hasn’t really been promoting “Don’t Worry Darling”on her social media, but has been more than happy to share promo, including the teaser, for next year’s “Oppenheimer.”

Sudeikis somewhat got the last laugh on Wilde when the actress got served custody papers while promoting “Don’t Worry Darling” in Las Vegas at CinemaCon in April.

Wilde, Styles and Pugh will be at the Venice Film Festival for the world premiere of their new movie.
