Here’s a little gift while we await the actual trailer being released online (potentially next week). Is that Albert Einstein in conversation with Oppie? If you can’t wait, a full-length trailer has been stitched up next to “Avatar: The Way of Water” screenings.
As you can see from the above footage the cast includes Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh. Rami Malek and Robert Downey Jr.
A quarter of “Oppenheimer” was shot in on IMAX black and white. The film will also use minimal VFX to recreate “The Bomb.” The film will also span 45 years. Purely a guess, but I bet it’ll tackle J. Robert Oppenheimer’s first days in Cambridge (1923) up to his death (1967).
“Oppenheimer” is said to have a budget of around $100 million.
