The poster for “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker” was revealed today and it features Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) as the villainous Palpatine looms in the background. The Rey-Kylo lightsaber duel is, of course, something that was expected for this final chapter of the trilogy.
“Rise of Skywalker” is said to be the final installment in the Skywalker saga, which includes George Lucas’ prequel trilogy from the early ’00s as well as the first three Star Wars films starring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford.
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will be in theaters on December 20, 2019.
