Robert Pattinston to join John David Washington in Nolan's next movie

March 20, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

After John David Washington, Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki have been added to Christopher Nolan’s as-of-yet untitled 2020 movie.

I liked Debicki a lot in “Widows,” it also happens that she is very easy on the eyes, but she has, more importantly, this galvanizing talent that I think could very much work in Nolan’s glossy cinematic world.

Pattinson has come a long way from his “Twilight” days, he’s basically gone the full-on indie route since the last “Twilight” movie was released back in 2012. For the last seven years he’s tried to “prove” himself as an actor starring in stuff like “Good Time,” “High Life,” “The Lost City of Z,” and, not to mention, two David Cronenberg movies (“Cosmopolis,” “A Map to the Stars”) which might not have been greenlit without his participation. Is he one of the great acting talents currently working at the movies? Of course not, but he’s been tackling these daring and noncommercial movies and that’s saying something. The Nolan will be his first foray into the blockbuster realm since 2012’s “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.”
