An update on Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another.” It’s been finally confirmed, via WGA filing, that the film was “inspired” by Thomas Pynchon’s “Vineland.”

After some pretty dire test scores, Warners had come up with their own alternative cut of “Mickey 17” that tested 10 points higher than Bong’s. However, the director had final cut and got his way.

“The Bride,” which was shot in New York, is said to have had worrisome test scores which has led Warner Bros to now enter the editing room in an attempt to shape and salvage the film.

Sony has finally pushed back the release date on this one. “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” is now set to release on September 19. This new date could give Kogonada’s film the opportunity to premiere at a fall film festival, most likely TIFF.
