Back in August, we learned that director Ira Sachs (“Passages”) was going to be directing “Peter Hujar’s Day” with actor Ben Whishaw. The film was supposed to start production in November, but got delayed due to the strikes. Deadline is only now reporting on this and billing it as an “exclusive.” It’s not.

David Bruckner to Direct ‘The Blob’ Remake for Warner Bros
