Two-time Oscar winners Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor will be scoring Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer.” The film is currently set for a fall launch, possibly at Venice.
Based on William S. Burroughs’ controversial novel of the same name, Guadagnino’s film wrapped production last July and has been in post production ever since. The film stars Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, Jason Schwartzman and Lesley Manville.
Ross and Reznor have been one of the most acclaimed film composers of the last decade, and that comes with being David Fincher’s go-to tandem on five films: “The Social Network”, “Gone Girl”, “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” “Mank” and “The Killer.”
The musical duo have been non-stop busy ever since their landmark score for “The Social Network” in 2010. Not counting the Finchers, they’ve also injected their musical chops to such projects as “Waves,” “Patriots Day,” “Mid90s,” “Watchmen,” “Empire of Light” “Pixar’s Soul” and the upcoming “Challengers.”
