Richardson is a joy to watch; you will leave wanting to see more of him. He created the show Detroiters, appeared in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and is most likely best recognized for his role in Veep. However, he has also been in Spy and The Office. Because he is so funny, he is helping to elevate the storyline of this movie, which otherwise may be a run-of-the-mill romantic comedy about a road trip.
Thanks to the Pitch Perfect series, Brittany Snow is a lot more well-known, but herein, she is playing a little bit of a different role than usual. The film begins by portraying Sam's character as a more salvageable person who has a few defects. In contrast, Brittany's character is shown as an irredeemable girl who has a few nice features.
As the film progresses, however, both characters travel toward the heart of the story in their respective ways. She certainly undergoes the greatest character growth throughout the film, and she does an excellent job portraying those changes on screen.

Even though it is a fairly standard romantic comedy, stars Snow and Richardson give it a charming, heartwarming quality that makes up for the film's formulaic nature. It avoids the genre's typical cliches, such as unbelievable twists and abrupt resolutions. Instead, characters not only develop but make conscious choices to better themselves throughout the story.
Anyone will love this light-hearted comedy, especially if they are okay with the concept of engaging in casual sex. Considering the number of hookup dating sites available today, it seems there is a huge audience for anything that talks about "hooking up" on the go. And that is one reason behind the popularity of this particular movie.
In terms of performance, you won't find a flaw. Snow did a fantastic job of giving Darla surprising depth, making her a humorous and sad figure. Richardson, likewise, did an outstanding job. Anyone would be pleasantly surprised to see the fantastic chemistry he shares with Snow. Remember that this is not Pitch Perfect; it is about Darla, not Chloe. But it is Brittany Snow's acting and the film's charming storyline that win you over.
Overall, you will like this movie, as it is much more than just a sex rom-com. In the beginning, it may seem a little clumsy, but all in all, it is a truly compelling and exciting story. The protagonists' performances are outstanding, and the idea that one might have to deal with sex addiction is both timely and potent.
