Paapa Essiedu to Play Severus Snape in HBO's ‘Harry Potter’ Series

UPDATE: Paapa Essiedu (“Gangs of London”) has been confirmed to play Severus Snape in the ‘Harry Potter’ TV series. The role had originally been Alan Rickman’s in the Potter movies (via THR). I’m sure folks will be very respectful, and there won’t be any controversy whatsoever about this casting.
