A24's ‘Heretic' Earns $1.2M in Thursday Previews

These numbers are no doubt spurred by the strong reviews the film’s been getting (95% Rotten Tomatoes/71 Metacritic). I haven’t reviewed it, but I will say that “Heretic” is a good film that sadly falls apart in the last 20 minutes.

Ridley Scott Working on ‘1492' 4-Hour Director's Cut

Simon Kinberg's Star Wars Trilogy is Episodes X, XI, and XII

Jeff Sneider is hearing that Daisy Ridley will come back for Simon Kinberg’s new Star Wars trilogy, and her Rey “will be positioned as the Obi-Wan of the new trilogy.” These three films will indeed be referred to as Episodes X, XI, and XII.

Macauley Culkin To Star in ‘Fallout’ Season 2

Trailer for The Farrelly Brothers' ‘Dear Santa'

Here’s the trailer for Bobby and Peter Farrelly’s “Dear Santa” (originally titled “Dear Satan”). I wrote about the film yesterday. It’s set to be the directing duo’s first film together in over 10 years. Sadly, this is a straight to streaming affair as “Dear Santa” is set hit Paramount+ on November 25.
