Warner Bros in the Lead to Acquire Boyle/Garland’s ‘28 Years Later’

Last week, we learned that Danny Boyle and Alex Garland were shopping around “28 Years Later” and that a studio bidding war was currently under way. Jeff Sneider is now reporting that Warner Bros is the frontrunner to nab the rights for the film, which is supposed to be turned into a trilogy.

What Did I Just Watch?!

I don’t believe the trailer for Jennifer Lopez’s “This is Me … Now” (02.14.24, Prime) is meant to be meta or satirical. Rather, it’s all supposed to be taken very seriously, with a straight face, and that’s what most concerns me. The result looks like the drug-addled fever dream of a schizophrenic narcissist. Lopez's husband, Ben Affleck, is listed as a co-writer on the film.
