Star Wars Episode IX looks set to start filming in the UK this July

No word yet on what will happen with Carrie Fisher's role as Leia. CGI Leia? Who knows, but I'm sure they'll be keeping it very secretive. And still no trailer for VIII. Which is rumored to be released next week during the Star Wars celebrations in Orlando.

Yahoo UK has it like this:

"As expected, the ‘Star Wars’ team won’t be wasting much time in getting underway on the third chapter in the new trilogy. Evidence has emerged that ‘Star Wars Episode IX’ will commence principal photography this July at Pinewood Studios, West London. A listing stating as such has been posted at film industry professional site My Entertainment World. This comes on top of a casting call for extras spotted by Omega Underground in February, which also pointed to a July start date."

Star Wars Episode IX is going to be directed by Collin Trevorrow (Jurassic World) and is due for release in 2019.
