I don't really know if what David Lynch said yesterday about Donald Trump was 'praise' or really just Lynch being Lynch and assessing a situation with a different set of eyes, which he surely does have.

Here's the whole paragraph of Lynch talking about Trump and you decide for yourselves:

He is undecided about Donald Trump. “He could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much. No one is able to counter this guy in an intelligent way. While Trump may not be doing a good job himself, he is opening up a space where other outsiders might. Our so-called leaders can’t take the country forward, can’t get anything done. Like children, they are. Trump has shown all this.
Ok, so Lynch is saying Trump could turn out to be the greatest President of all-time due to his no-holds-barred persona, but that right now, he's not doing a good job. Whatever that means, who knows. But Trump has taken it as a compliment and not only retweeted a Breitbart article having to do with Lynch's praise, but also found the time to mention him at tonight's rally in South Carolina. Trump said that because Lynch said those positive things about him that the 72-year-old's "career in Hollywood is over." Funny.
