David Lynch says Trump 'May Not Be Doing A Good Job' But He ‘Could Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents in History’

Yes, he did endorse Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary, but David Lynch is ultimately a Libertarian, like Rand Paul, and voted so when Sanders was ousted by Hilary Clinton during the primaries. 

Lynch admitted to The Guardian that he's “not really a political person,” however his views on Donald Trump, are shall we say, more positive than many of his peers in Hollywood: 

“He could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much. No one is able to counter this guy in an intelligent way. Trump may not be doing a good job himself, but our so-called leaders can’t take the country forward, can’t get anything done. Like children, they are. Trump has shown all this,” Lynch said
